Stacey Sommerhauser
Director of Consulting Services
Stacey Sommerhauser is the Director of Consulting Services at Silvers HR, where she has spent the past 15 years helping employers navigate the ever-changing world of Human Resources with confidence, clarity, and a little less stress. As part of Silvers HR — a firm that has supported hundreds of California employers for more than 20 years — Stacey partners with organizations of all sizes to turn complex workplace challenges into practical, people-centered solutions.
With over 25 years of HR experience across both the private and public sectors, Stacey is known for blending deep compliance expertise with real-world business insight. Her background includes leadership roles in the transportation, finance, and construction industries, along with experience in sales and marketing, allowing her to approach HR not just as policy and process, but as a strategic driver of organizational success.
Stacey holds three senior-level Human Resources certifications from the HR Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has been an active member of SHRM and the Sacramento Area Human Resources Association (SAHRA) for more than 15 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside.
Her areas of expertise include employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, leadership coaching, workplace investigations, and multi-state, multi-site compliance. Stacey is especially valued for her ability to coach executives through sensitive employee situations and for delivering engaging, practical training programs in harassment prevention, performance management, and workplace communication — translating legal requirements into strategies leaders can actually use.
Clients appreciate Stacey’s straightforward style, calm problem-solving approach, and ability to make even the most complicated HR issues feel manageable. Whether advising leadership teams, training managers, or guiding organizations through high-stakes employee matters, her goal is always the same: help businesses build workplaces that are compliant, productive, and genuinely positive for the people in them.
When she’s not supporting clients, Stacey is in the endless pursuit of a hole-in-one and can often be found golfing around Placer County with family and friends or keeping pace with her very energetic Boston Terrier, Jax.
